Richard Manfredi – Chairman and CEO
Mr. Manfredi is a 40-year veteran of the logistics and supply chain management industry. A graduate of John Carroll University, Richard started his career with The Manfredi Motor Transit Company with responsibilities for the company’s Newbury, OH operation. In 1987, he was named President of Distribution Technologies (f.k.a - The Manfredi Motor Transit Company), and all associated subsidiary companies. Under Richard’s direction, the corporation has grown to annual revenues in excess of $100 million and has been awarded the Heil Trophy representing the safest liquid bulk trucking company in the nation, five out of the last eight years.
Mr. Manfredi, an avid golfer, serves on several boards and has held chairman and director positions with The American Trucking Association, The National Tank Truck Carriers Association and the Ohio Trucking Association.
Eric Amstutz – Executive Vice President and COO
Holding a BSBA degree in Marketing from the University of Toledo, Eric brings over 17 years experience in the areas of IBC cleaning, technical services and supply chain management. Mr. Amstutz has been instrumental in the development and implementation of the company's supply-chain management and business integration technology solutions.
During his career with MSS, Eric has also held the positions of Plant Manager – Cleveland, Director of Operations, Director of Sales, and Vice President of Business Development.
Eric enjoys golfing and coaching his children’s youth sports teams. He is based at the company’s Florida Technology Center, where he resides with his wife and two children.
Don Ward – Director of Operations
Mr. Ward has been with the Manfredi Corporation since 1989, and has held his current position of Plant Manager – Cleveland with MSS for the past six years. Prior to his promotion to MSS, Don was the Tank Wash Manager for Distribution Technology's Newbury, OH terminal, and holds over 15 years experience in the container cleaning and technical services areas.
Don is responsible for all operational, quality and P&L functions of the company's largest operation. Don’s expertise was instrumental in allowing MSS to gain its ISO 9000 certification in the year 2000. Don’s greatest strength is his desire to treat every customer, large or small, with the same respect and detail to quality.
Don is an avid outdoorsman, and resides with his family in the suburbs of Cleveland.
Phil Paradise – Executive Director - Environmental, Health & Safety
Phil Paradise Jr. has been appointed to the newly created position of Director of Purchasing and Administration. He began his career with Manfredi Special Services in 2005 after serving as Director of Purchasing and Administration for MSS' parent company, Distribution Technologies, over the last 6 years.
A graduate of John Carroll University with a degree in science, Phil previously held the positions of Central Dispatch Coordinator, Cost Analyst & Fuel Manager for Distribution Technologies. Mr. Paradise also holds several years' experience in the field of logistics coordination and management.
Phil enjoys fishing, coaching football and golfing. He lives in Newbury, Ohio with his daughter Crystal.
Jason Allemeier – Director - Sales & Customer Service
During Mr. Allemeier’s career at Manfredi Special Services, he has held several key operational and customer service positions. These include his current position of Manager - Sales & Customer Service, Production Supervisor and Automotive Coatings Production Manager. With over 10 years experience in the tote/IBC industry, Mr. Allemeier brings a vast array of knowledge, in all aspects of totes/IBC’s, to the client base of MSS. Prior to his career at MSS, Mr. Allemeier has held Plant Management and Sales/Customer Service positions at companies serving the chemical and foundry industries.
Jason enjoys spending time with his family, is active in coaching his children’s youth sports teams and is an avid golfer.
